The Jungle (ジャングル Jyanguru) is a Land from Legend of Mana. Densely packed with a rich variety of tropical flora, the Jungle is a location that many, unsurprisingly, are known to lose their sense of direction in. Playing host to a group of Faeries who have sworn allegiance to the half-demon Irwin, the Jungle is presided over by one of the Seven Wisdoms, Rosiotti.
Profile[]
Faerie Arc[]
The Murmuring Forest[]
The first event of the Faerie Arc, it can only be activated after Huntin' Du'Cate is completed. Selkie comments about the war between Faeries and humans, and asks the Hero/Heroine if they want to be rid of a curse placed on them.
Later, when entering the Forest of Faeries, it's show that a couple of faeries have mistakenly taken an unconcious Nun from Gato Grottoes to be their new queen. They complain on how the nun has no elemental powers whatsoever and one of them commands to bring the priestess of Gato. Another faerie comments that the priestess "looks like a million-year-old-hag", but other faerie points out she is only 26, while other comments their former queen was 28,732 years old, and that humans only live for about 500 years — even less. They question why Irwin chose a human to be their queen. Escad appears on the scene, immediately slashing the faeries and asking the Hero/Heroine to take the nun to Rosiotti to be treated. She walks up, saying that nuns do not need to rely in "so-called wisdoms".
Later on, the player encounters the Punkmaster and learns of the plans of Irwin.
Heaven's Gate[]
If the player has chosen to fight Daena back in Mindas Ruins in Star-Crossed Lovers, Escad will be in the Forested Ruins to join the team.
Bud and Lisa's Arc[]
The Seven Wisdoms[]
One of the Seven Wisdoms, Rosiotti can be found here. He tells Bud of the mana energy in the air, and to empty his heart of thoughts and feel it.
Others[]
Huntin' Du'Cate[]
At the start of the map, the player encounters Sotherbee, Skippie and Hamson. They discuss about a debt the later two have, and Sotherbee offers a small amount of it to be paid if they bring in the tail of Du'Cate, later offering the bounty to the Hero/Heroine as well. Du'Cate will only appear after a series of ocurrings on the map are done. After defeating him, the player can choose to keep a 500 Lucre reward to themselves or give it to Hamson and Skippie, to which Sotherbee will praise the Hero/Heroine and say the other two should take them as an example.
