The Mushboom, also known as the Myconid, is a recurring enemy in the Mana series.

They are among the most recognized enemies in the franchise along with the rabite and the molebear.

Physical Description[]

Mushbooms are anthropomorphic fungi recognized by their large pink or purple caps with heart patterns, broad stalks with large faces, and stubby limbs. Their look is also completed with a stone-faced bewildered expression.

Affinities[]

These enemies typically inhabit grassy meadows, forests and caverns. They are frequently associated with Dryad and as such can dance around to fight and can spew powder at their enemies to put them into the Sleep status. They are usually found buried in the ground with only their cap visible, and upon getting close they pop out and attack.
